Family Literacy Center Playgroups are designed for families with children 5 years old and younger. Parents and children participate in story time, crafts, music, and more! It is a great opportunity to meet other families with children the same age and make new friends!
Family Playgroups are 6 week long sessions from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at the Marguerite deAngeli Library ( 921 West Nepessing St., Lapeer)
Winter Session Dates (Tuesdays): February 24th, March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, & 31st
Spring Session Dates (Mondays): April 20th, 27th, May 4th, 11th, 18th, & June 1st Please note that the library will closed on May 25th for Memorial Day.
Summer Session Dates (Mondays) : August 17th, 24th, 31st, September 14th, 21st, and 28th. Please note that the library will closed on September 7th for Labor Day.
Fall Session Dates (Mondays): October 19th, 26th, November 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd.
Participants must register with the Family Literacy Center prior to the start of playgroups.
